The Quilter’s Cottage Sewalong with Fat Quarter Shop is moving into week 2! This week we are making the actual Quilter’s Cottage. I chose to use Blossom in my block (as I will be doing for the entire quilt) and also chose to make my cottage a bit differently than Lori shows in her pattern. I omitted a color and went for a one color house “siding”, if you will, instead of two.

I went for pink on pink on pink on pink and I wouldn’t change a single thing about this block. I wish my actual real life house had a pink roof and a pink door! For more details about the sewalong, head to the Fat Quarter Shop blog .
