It’s hard to believe this seemingly endless summer that basically started in March is coming to a close. Before it ends, Moda Bakeshop is doing a fantastic summer quiltalong they have named Summer in the Country. All of the designers (chefs in bakeshop lingo) who are participating in the full quilt are using Back Porch by Me and My Sister Designs that hits shops in August. This week, it is my turn to share the 12″ block I’ve come up with for the quiltalong.

I have always loved a star in a star block and this triple star is too fun for my tiny pieces loving heart. For those of you who might not love tiny pieces as much, there is also an option to omit the innermost star and just do 2 stars. Either way, the block is such a fun traditional block.
