Ann of Stitch Supply Co. approached me at the end of last year asking if I’d be willing to make a shop sample for her out of V and Co’s Ombre Metallic Confetti fabric. I could not say no. This fabric is just magical, as was the original Ombre fabric. Ann picked Vanessa’s Rising Star quilt pattern and I got to work cutting and cutting and cutting and cutting. There are A LOT of pieces in this quilt, but the end result is so amazing it is so worth it. Each larger star finishes at 8″ and each tiny inside star is just 4″. These pieces were small, even for someone who coined the hashtag #holdmeclosertinypieces. 🙂 It is hanging in Ann’s shop for a few months and then I have the task of figuring out how to quilt it! Isn’t it a stunner???
