I saw this block popping up on Instagram a ton, but there were no instructions that I could find to make it for my sampler. 

Background:
(10) 1.5″ x 1.5″ squares
(2) 1.5″ x 4.5″ rectangles
(2) 1.5″ x 6.5″ rectangles

Print:
(14) 1.5″ x 1.5″ squares

Mark a line down the center of 8 of your background squares. Choose 8 of your prints and sew one background square on top of each on the line that you drew. Trim 1/4″ away from your line and press these into 1.5″ half square triangles. You may need to trim them. Lay out your remaining print and background squares as desired.
