How could I not make a granny square? They are such a classic block that are relatively easy to make once you have the correct dimensions. Feel free to make it in which ever colors you prefer, but for ease of explaining, I’m listing the cutting instructions in the colors of my square. 

(12) 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″ background squares
(8) 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″ blue print
(4) 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″ red print
(1) 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″ center
